I Me Mine
My name is Guillermo Rauch, and I’m a 16-year-old 17-year-old web developer living in Argentina. For the past 6 years I’ve been comitted to creating (hopefully) modern and usable websites. My main interests, and most of the topics I’ll be blogging about, are Javascript, PHP and CSS.
In addition, a couple of years ago I discovered that I could monetize my knowledge, and I so became a freelance programmer. That’s also one of the topics I can give you a couple of suggestions about.
I’m a devoted Beatles fan, a McDonald’s faithful customer (unfortunately), I love foreign languages and mathematics.
The Blog
Devthought is the best name I could think of for my blog. I think it’s not that bad and, after all, it clearly describes its purpose: share my thoughts and insights as a developer. It is powered by one of my favorite Open Source PHP projects, the charming and mighty Wordpress. Owing to its flexible code, nice themes and plugins support, I’ve been using it for many purposes, and I always encourage everyone who hasn’t tried it to give it a shot.
I’m currently using a modified version of the beautiful Peaceful Rush 1.0 by Small Potato
Articles and Scripts
As a way to attract readers and give something back to the community, I’ll be writing some interesting articles on the topics I mentioned earlier. I also plan to share some scripts I’ve written and I haven’t sold to anyone else.
I hope you enjoy the site
