WP-o-Matic Stable is coming!

Despite all this time of inactivity, the WP-o-Matic project is more alive than ever!

Here are some screenshots of what will be the next stable version of this useful plugin. As I promised, it comes packed with all the features of competitors’ similar products, and even more.

    Hey Guillermo. First of all, thanks for this plugin, it’s excellent!

    I have a problem with words’ automatic relinking: the destination url doesn’t work because it is written correctly by the plugin.

    http://www.mysite.com/wordpress/www.destinationurl.com
    instead of
    http://www.destinationurl.com

    Does anyone know where to change this function?
    Thanks a lot

    I’m encountering an problem when attempting pull feeds using your plugin. I’ve checked my index and footer as well as the style sheet. It doesn’t appear to be the cause. Randomly the styling of the content area and sidebars disappears showing that of the body.

    Anyone else experience this problem?

    @Vincent
    Sorry, but I do not work for you. And since you’re such a smartass, I hope you don’t find the solution for the source link, which is being pulled and stored in the metadata of each post.

    He said “soon” back in July.

    Then said “WP-o-Matic stable (1.0) is due to be released this weekend” back on Aug 22nd.

    Latest word is “It’s probably before this weekend” but who knows.

    Did anyone fix the things that were broken with the current release? For instance, the “source” link not being pulled in no matter what. That’s really the only thing I want from he new version. :)

    Is the new one going to have the option to import new posts as drafts?

    Hey-

    I’m digging this plugin.

    Would it be possible to have the next version check the RSS feed for wordpress categories and if any are found, add the categories to the imported post? This would be a huge help, as i am using wp-o-matic to aggregate a bunch of other WP blogs.

    Hey people, don’t act like hungry dogs. Give this guy a brake. He is doing it for free. I don’t mind checking site every 10 minutes.

    @Jamison
    It’s probably before this weekend. If you don’t want to check the site every few hours use a RSS reader =)
