WP-o-Matic Stable is coming!

Despite all this time of inactivity, the WP-o-Matic project is more alive than ever!

Here are some screenshots of what will be the next stable version of this useful plugin. As I promised, it comes packed with all the features of competitors’ similar products, and even more.

Please don’t hesitate to send in your comments, and don’t forget to…

    David,

WP-o-Matic RC1 has already been distributed to random betatesters among donators.

Was really looking forward to playing with the new version this weekend :)

    What happened?

Any chance of getting a copy of the new one? Even if you call it beta? :)

    David

    Sounds great. Keep it real.

I have a small request though.. Would it be possible to add some support for adding movieclips from lets say youtube, metacafe, liveleak etc?..

    Take care!

    Hello Guillermo,
Very site & extremely useful plugin !
I am planning to use it to mirror posts from various blogs me and my friends own (no splogging …). I am still testing the latest version available and it is working fine! However some essential features are missing (like better post content /images handling custom post templates etc.)
Since I am seriously consider to furtherly customize it, and add the features I need,(as I have done with many plugins) It would be very nice if you could send/provide the code / changes you have already implemented to avoid working on the same features! You will gain a … code pal :-) & WP-o-Matic will gain an experienced beta tester / contributor!
Be very careful with proposals and be sure to get a fair price in return of your work (and always deliver after payment has been made /verified ) if you decide to go commercial (or create customized / advanced versions) (Un)Fortunately your plugin’s primary audience will be ruthless ( and very … lazy) sploggers / spammers that want , for free ,all the features that would allow them to generate $$ from advertisements , without even writing a single line of code (e.g. to add the source link doesn’t take more than 5 min), and will pay back to you nothing or worst try to scam you!
I don’t want to be miss-understood , I am NOT saying all users of this plugin who are requesting here help / provide feedback , are spammers - gangsters :-) etc. I just have been there - worked a couple of years ago , when I was younger and still inexperienced, on a (un)ethical ;-) marketing project, proposed to me as a great chance to gain money developing and received almost no-payment in return…

If you haven’t done already you should also specify the software license (BSD / GNU - GPL, Others ) under which your sources are licensed in the source files.

You can email me the sources / leave a comment with a URL on my site if you are interested!

Thanks and keep up the good work!
