RC3-7, PHP5, Linux, Apache, WP 2.5.1 - Web based cron jobs are running now however they do not fetch any posts. I still need to manually fetch posts with RC3-7. Hope that helps.

rc-7 broke my site :-(. After setting up a campaign, I went to edit a setting (before fetching posts — I’d forgotten to change a setting) and everything froze. Blog and admin panel was inaccessible.
Deleting wpomatic.php restored access, but when I put the file back and re-activated the plugin, same result — nothing loaded anymore.

I just installed RC3-7 and nothing happens when I try to fetch a feed with either wp-mu 1.5rc1 or wp2.5.1 except “Campaign processed. 0 posts fetched” appears.

More, as promised
Perhaps there should be a way to ignore the “Frequency” and “Max items to create on each fetch” on the first fetch for a new feed or campaign? Changing these values twice may be non-obvious to new users…
UI thing: When Checking Feeds, the [] Delete? option oddly and suddenly migrates below a line break.
Settings - WPoMatic - Options - Unix Cron - More:
Help file not found. (additional suggestion: Sometimes “php” or “get http://etc” will work when cURL doesn’t; even if it’s otherwise functional. Depends on server/host setup.)
Also, props for the “o-matic” name. Contractions should be used to humorous ends more oft.

Annnnd… a report on RC7
Aren’t I helpful? (laugh.) I keep commenting because I love the plugin, believe me!
Rewrite only seems to work on the content in the feed (item’s description in rss2), and not on anything else (such as title). This might be by design (feature-not-a-bug!), but for example Twitter’s feed is user: tweet-contentuser: tweet-content and so finging “user: ” and replacing with “” results in a post with an unaffected title, but corrected content. Perhaps and option: checkbox for “also replace in title” or “replace in all fields”?
Edit Campaign - if the frequency is over one week, you only see the remainder frequency
(ex: 8d = 1d, or 30d = 2d) (Freq does show up correctly on dashboard)
Edit Campaign - Tools, then any other tab (Basic Feeds Categories Rewrite Options)
‘Tools’ remains visible.
There was something else, but I can’t find/replicate it! I’ll be back
Thanks for the amazing plugin!!!

P.S. - Mine occurred after add campaign. WP 2.5.1

Same error on
wp-content/plugins/wp-o-matic/inc/admin/edit.php on line 341

I just got the following error with 1.0RC3-6
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘;’ in /home/…wp-content/plugins/wp-o-matic/inc/admin/edit.php on line 341
I got it on both wp-mu 1.5RC1 and WP 2.5.1.
Neither will fetch a feed when I click on fetch (imported the feed setting). It didn’t fetch a feed using the earlier beta either.
I use Wordpress-mu on most sites. I only installed 2.5.1 in a subdirectory for testing purposes.

Ditto on:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘;’ in /home/x/public_html/karenm.us/wp-content/plugins/wp-o-matic/inc/admin/edit.php on line 341
Which is weird, because there is no ‘;’ on that line…

Frequency is not working properly. For ex. frequency is 3 hours but in the dashboard it shows as 23 hours. Also i can’t change the frequency from options. After fetching the rss it still keeps the old settings.
Also clean logs is not working..

sorry, that is WP 2.5.1

Same error for me
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘;’ in html/wp-content/plugins/wp-o-matic/inc/admin/edit.php on line 341
loaded with FF, running on MediaTemple servers
